First win in 107 days

Written by Hog Bay CT at 12:12 22/2-2017

Like many other teams, Hog Bay CT was hit hard by the xp-changes. Whereas a rider like Gresham Witham ended up in 11th position last season, he's now on a grand total of 40 points. The second most successful rider, Paul Crawford, went from 132th in the ranking to 110 points. Surely, someone must also be profiting from these changes, but who?

Mostly because of that it had been 107 days since the team could celebrate a victory. Today Silas Lindenmeier put an end to that bad streak with a somewhat surprising win in the Fiji Coast Race. With a huge grin in front of the camera, Lindenmeier confirmed that he felt from the first kilometer that he had super legs. Still, Hog Bay CT is back to their winning ways.

Now we'll just have to wait two or three more seasons or so before the actual captains can get back to winning.

I think that Fabio Laacaro is one rider that's profiting. LOL Read the following post.

Super Velo at 20:55 23/2-2017
Here's a good one for ya. (Mr. Off Day) Fabio Laacarro who has pretty good sprint stats plus a total of 226 sprint points did virtually nothing during his entire career except get off days. He hasn't had a result since I gave up on him 6 seasons ago in S33. He got a win today! Granted it was in div 5 but he had absolutely NO lead out support. Thats pretty stupid if you ask me...

Just pray for super legs :)

My team faced something similar. Most of my riders were betwee 23-26 years old. I could have been patient, recharge everyone and try to attract a few older captains, but that was boring. So I decided to sell a bunch and drop and have some fun with my young CL squad in lower divisions. Good luck coping!

Team Oasis at 16:44 22/2-2017
I have the same problem with Taveira, who doesn't even seem to score.

Hog Bay CT at 16:35 22/2-2017
Yeah, I've figured the same. Goddard has been captain in most races. He's not good enough to win big races obviously, but he's brought in some points and cash.

AnnoDomini at 16:13 22/2-2017
Looks like Goddard should be your captain now for the CL races...And Witham is surely one of the most disapointed riders this season! From hero to zero :-)

Team Oasis at 16:04 22/2-2017
Its feels like juvenile detention I guess
